I’m Linda Hiatt, the owner/operator of Stitches Galore. I opened the business in our home in 1982. In 1986 I moved to a storefront in Kalona, Iowa. I added a second location in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2001. In November 2004 I decided to slow down and closed the Kalona store. By 2006 I was tired and decided it was time to close the Cedar Rapids store. Now I am clearing out the excess. I’ve been selling unopened merchandise, and some gently used products on line. I’m cleaning house, and the buyers are getting products at bargain prices. I’m also a button collector. I belong to two local clubs, the Iowa State Button Society, and the National Button Society. I’ve added new buttons and collector buttons to my sight for your consideration. I also have buttons for the seamstress. Many have asked me “what are you doing now Linda?” Now you know. I’m also getting to sew, read, shop, and spend time with my family and friends again.
